Issue #41
With close to 200 pages, Issue 41 is rammed with sneaker heat! Our stand-out feature analyses the idiosyncratic history of the New Balance 997. After bursting onto the scene in 1990, the model disappeared for two decades before reappearing via some Kanye shenanigans that involved a United Arrows hybrid and a mythical ‘Made in UK’ 997 unicorn that was last seen on the Crooked Tongues forum a decade ago.
We also tracked down the elusive mastermind behind YEEZY MAFIA in a vain attempt to unlock their mysterious sneaker-leaking business model. Don’t hate the player people… Elsewhere, interviews with skate icon Tony Alva and Jerry Lorenzo from Fear of God add inter-generational heft. We also travel to Wolverhampton to meet Tom Ray, whose Air Max TN collection is jam-packed with gems. Sunburns, Fireberries, Bogans, Tides and Scarabs – the TN scene feasts on eshay patois.
There's loads more of course, but you'll have to grab a copy and read it for yourself!
